Here are some of the FAQs we hear about mobile device repair services in St. Louis.

Q: Do you use original manufacturer parts?

A: The truth is that it depends on the brand. Apple doesn't sell parts to third party shops, which makes it impossible for any repair shop in the US to get authentic Apple manufactured parts. Typicaly we can and do use original manufacturers parts for Samsung, HTC, LG, and most Android devices. 

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: Mobile Device Doctors gladly welcomes walk ins, so there is no need for an appointment.  Feel free to come by whenever is convenient for you. Be aware that if you bring in a repair that requires more time than we're open in the day, you likley won't be able to pick the device up until the following business day. 

Q: What is your warranty? Does it cover cracks or damage to device after the repair is completed?

A: Mobile Device Doctors offers a 6 month warranty on all our parts and labor. Should the parts begin to malfunction or you are unhappy with the service, we'd love an opportunity to see you completely satisfied.   In regards to the warranty covering cracks or new damage, the warranty does NOT cover new damage to the device.

Q: What are Mobile Device Doctor's hours of operation? 

A: We're open 10 am to 7 pm on weekdays, and 10-5 every Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. 

Q: Where are you located?

A: We're located in Maplewood, MIssouri near the intersection of Manchester and Big Bend. The easiest way to get here from Highway 40 is to exit at Big Bend (between Hanley and McCausland) and proceed south on Big Bend.  You'll pass Manchester, and at the second stop light past Manchester, you'll take a left onto a street called James.  Once you're on James proceed to the second stop sign, which is Edgar Avenue, and take a right. We'll be at the end of the street on the right side.

Q: Will I lose my data during a repair? 

A: It is extremely rare to lose data during one of Mobile Device Doctors repairs, but we always recommend for our customers to back up any data prior to having the device repaired.  It is also helpful if the password is removed in case any data recovery is required.
